Elitch Gardens is located in the heart of Denver, Colorado and is the areas largest theme park. The park features a number of roller coaster including Boomerang , Mind Easer , Sidewinder , and their wooden coaster called Twister II. The park features dozens of other rides as well and caters to people of all ages. Your admission ticket also gets you into the attached water park free of charge! Here is a look at the park map The park is open during the weekend through June and July with the exception of July 4th where its open 10ap 10a-8p.

Comparing the two head to head — Water World vs. Elitch Gardens — is a bit like comparing apples and oranges because they are quite different. Both parks have their merits… and their disadvantages. Still a lot of fun, but bring your wallet. We enjoyed a lot! It is more than I expected. I am so sorry because they are going to close the park next year to build a building. It is going to be a big lost for Denver!
